Gary Alan Jacob, DC, LAc, MPH, DipMDT did his baccalaureate studies in Philosophy of Science and subsequently graduated (1978) and then California Acupuncture College (1981). He was the first DC and the twelfth individual to receive the DipMDT (1991) from the McKenzie Institute International. He then pursued a Master’s in Public Health in Community Health Education & Promotion from UCLA (2003) and is an Elected Enrollee of the Johns Hopkins Delta Omega Honorary Public Health Society. Gary is an educator who lectures locally (at SCUHS and acupuncture colleges) and internationally about rehab-related issues including clinical reasoning, biopsychosocial factors and the McKenzie (MDT) Model. He has authored several textbook chapters regarding the McKenzie approach. In addition to being an educator, he remains in private practice in Pacific Palisades, California.
