Program Overview

Launched in spring 2010, Yo San’s DAOM program is a candidate for accreditation with the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). The program is 1220 hours in length, composed of 570 didactic hours and 650 clinical hours. Courses are offered in a monthly modular format over a two year period.

The program offers two specialties: Integrative Reproductive Medicine and Healthy Aging & Longevity.  Within the chosen area of specialization, candidates complete a Capstone Project as evidence of their mastery of program content.  Capstone Projects are original works demonstrating the ability to think critically and creativity, craft a synthesis, and develop new ideas and perspectives on a topic potentially advancing the practice of integrative medicine
