Effective September 2012, total tuition for the DAOM program at Yo San University is approximately $32,400 not including fees nor insurance.
The costs per trimester includes $5400 for tuition, $60 for Registration Fee and $10 for Student Association Fee and when registered for Clinical Hours, $130 for Liability Insurance. Tuition and fees are subject to annual adjustment.
The price of required and recommended text books can vary greatly, but on average you can expect to spend $3,000 to $4,000
on text books, readers and materials over the course of the program.
Tuition and fees, excluding application fee, for international students are the same as for US citizens and residents.

Discounts apply only to basic tuition charges and are not applicable to fees. Only one discount may apply.
- 10% scholarship available for all YSU graduates
- 5% discount available for YSU faculty who have taught 6 units in the past two years
- 5% discount available for YSU staff who have at least half time status
- 7% discount for candidates who pay the entire two year tuition prior to the start date
- 5% discount for candidates who pay the entire one year tuition prior to the annual start date.
Payment in full is due on the Friday of the first residency of the trimester. Payment can be in the form of cash, check, credit card, Federal Student Loan disbursement or Installment Plan payment. In your first trimester the amount due is the full amount of tuition and fees less the amount of your Tuition Deposit ($1500).
YSU offers students short-term loans in the form of an Installment Payment Plan. Under this plan, students pay tuition expenses in three equal monthly installments, with the first payment being made by Friday of the first residency. There is no interest or service charge to participate in the Installment Payment Plan except for a late fee in the event payments are not made on time. Students with a minimum financial obligation of $1500 are eligible for the installment payment plan and may make arrangements at the time of registration.
