Meet Stacy and April Frerking
Stacy Frerking, L.Ac., MSTOM, Dipl., A.C., C.H., & O.M.
April Frerking, L.Ac., MSTOM, Dipl., A.C., C.H., & O.M.
Sisters April and Stacy Frerking are not only colleagues in Yo San’s DAOM Reproductive Medicine program, but also run their own women’s health practice together in Branson, Missouri. April and Stacy were raised with holistic medicine, and have encountered its phenomenal effects since childhood. Both were involved professionally in the theater and performing arts, and spent a lot of time traveling before pursuing their education in Chinese Medicine. After passing both their CALE and NCCAOM licensing exams, Stacy and April moved back to the town in which they grew up, and are there now, actively bettering it on a daily basis. They are very involved in their community—hosting a radio show together and providing community services like their complimentary acupuncture treatments for veterans and military personnel for the entire week of Veterans Day, this past November.
Besides her passion for Chinese Medicine, April also loves dancing, especially line dancing, pilates, watching old movies, reading a good book, and spending time with her family, her dog and her cat. Stacy is also a lover of dance, and before studying Chinese Medicine, spent time traveling as a dancer with the late Andy Williams. She collects shoes and books, and enjoys journaling, reading, rollerblading, traveling and laughing with her sister. Stacy mentions that her sister April is not just an acupuncturist, but also an undiscovered comedian. April and Stacy can generally be found together, laughing and enjoying life, and helping their patients to do the same.
