Soap Making Fun

On Monday Jenna Martin, a 1st year Yo San student, guided us through a lovely instruction on soap making. She showed us how to incorporate essential oils, color therapy and beautiful flowers to enhance the restorative aspect of a healing shower or bath. I was shocked at how easy it was to make these natural and beneficial soaps.

Flocked by 16 eager students, Jenna had us collectively participate in the process of mixing in a yellow colored soap base, adding lotus migraine essential oil, pouring this into molds, topping it off with delicate flowers, then packaging the soap. She made this elaborate multi-step process into an easy breezy one hour presentation. Plus, everyone went home with a little sample of fragrant soapy goodness. Personally, I’m eagerly awaiting her next workshop.
