About Ming Dong Li L.Ac.   : Ming-Dong Li, B.Med., M.S., Ph.D. (China), L.Ac., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM) graduated from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Medical Degree in 1982, then earned a Ph.D. there in Chinese Internal Medicine in 2002. He also spent two years studying Tuina and Chinese orthopedics with Dr. Yu Da-Fang, a highly renowned professor at Shanghai University of TCM. He has more than 30 years of clinical practice and teaching experience both in China and the United States. Currently, Dr. Li practices and teaches at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine, is an instructor of Chinese Internal Medicine, Tuina and Taiji at Yo San University. Dr. Li’s new textbook Chinese Internal Medicine is now available from People’s Medical Publishing House. In addition to his professional work Dr. Li is an avid practitioner of taiji. He has earned twenty-six gold medals in different national and international competitions. Most recently in 2012 at The International Chinese Martial Arts Championship held in Denver, Colorado, he took home five gold medals along with the title of Grand Champion.
